Cameron and Ed Miliband talk semi social capitalism
Social capitalism, we got it from reading Will Hutton, and seven cultures of capitalism. Ed Miliband talked of opposing preditory capitalism, now David Cameron is at it. David Cameron then ruins his social capitalist credentials by saying he believes in the free market. Keep reading your Will Hutton homework Dave. We Cafuelarena don't believe in a free market, but a German style social market, proper Rhineland capitalism, workers on the board, shock horror, and cross shareholdings, anti short termism, proper industrial banks rather than casino stock markets. We wont mention the maximum wage, tarifs and protectionism all be it flexable and reciprocal, and our love of economists Liste and Colbert. To listen to some you would thing protectionism meant the end of the world, but look what happens when you put them into practice, British industry actually existed, we had something called an empire. Every industrial nation is at it's peak when it practices some sort of tarifs and naughty measures. Even America, when it doesn't have actual tarifs, it has invisible ones, sneaky ones that dam the third world. We guess it's over some peoples heads, certainly economists. Never mind, we praise Dave and Ed for moving mch in the direction of social capitalism at least. Thank you, credit where it is due.
Are the Republicans recruiting for the presidency or a circus?
The Cafuelarena is not allowed to interfere in the political elections of another sovereign state, unless a state is lethally hostile to it's own citizens like Libya was, or a country is engaged in idealogical warfare against social capitalism, like America is. This means nine times out of ten, when American Republicans have leaders that are not moderates, we are free to oppose them. We actually didn't think that the last George Bush was THAT bad.
With the current hopefuls, it's like watching the early rounds of one of those talent contests, you see all the social misfits. Our hope is they only seem crazy because they are chasing the votes in the South, and from oddball Republican block voters. They get sensible in the biger wide world. We hope at least they are well meaning, and not evil and uncaring. Please remember the poor people. Please look inot social capitalism. Please try to build bridges not maintain the barriers that Republicans are usually so fond of. Please.
At the moment the candidates are making Obama look ever more professional.
The French election
Inta-Clan has thus far forbidden the Cafuelarena from interferring in the French elections.
We are as extreme pro European as it is possible to get. If a main French party was particularly unsympathetic to Europe, we can go to Inta-Clan and put our case to be allowed to coment. In the last British election, we told people to vote for parties that were acceptable to social capitalists, a bit of a grey area as Blair didn't do much that was social capitalist, and most European. Some took that to mean don't vote Tory, but we never said as much. Some of our Tory supporters were almost in tears, many abstained from voting at all. The Tory party is now out of the cupboard as actually hostile to Europe, apart from poor Dave and his true friends. This puts the Cafuelarena in a difficult position, and means interesting talks with Inta-Clan.
